Solgar® Omega 3-6-9 is a premium blend of Omega 3, 6 and 9. The fatty acids are derived from fish, flaxseed and burdock oil . These essential fats are essential in many body functions and must be part of our diet, as the body does not produce them.

Omega 3 is made up of EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid). and DHA (Docosahexanoic Acid).Commonly found in fatty fish, such as sardines, mackerel and salmon. It also contains ALA (Alpha-Linolenic Acid), which fish naturally converts to the important EPA and DHA, but our bodies can only convert small amounts.

Omega 6 consists of Linoleic Acid and Gamma-Linolenic Acid,while found in many oils and nuts.

Omega 9 is naturally found in foods containing Oleic Acid,such as nuts fruits and oils.

The ratio in these fatty acids is very important, especially that between Omega 3 and Omega 6. Solgar® Omega 3-6-9, with consumption of 3 doses per day, offers a higher percentage of omega-3 oils, from fish and flax, supplemented with high-quality omega-6 from linseed burdock oil, as well as omega-9 in the form of oleic acid, also from linseed oil.

Fish oils are hypersensitive in various pollutants, which are often found in the consumption of fish. Pollutants are often present high up in the food chain in marine organisms, freshwater and ocean sediments. To ensure purity and safety, Solgar's Omega 3-6-9 uses oil that has been molecularly filtered to remove mercury, PCBs and other heavy metal contaminants.

Use & storage:
Taken as a dietary supplement for adults, 1-3 soft capsules daily, preferably with meals . Do not exceed the instructions for use.
