The clinically proven range of antiviral medical technological products iovir® is a simple, natural, safe and easy way for the prevention and complementary treatment of viral upper respiratory infections.

The iovir®, has been designed and developed on the patented technological platform Carragelose®. The platform is being used to develop treatments that target more than 200 different strains of respiratory viruses, which are responsible for the common cold and flu. iovir® (nasal spray) contains the natural functional ingredient Carragelose® and kappa-carrageenan which are derived from red rose algae.

It has the unique property of creating a protective barrier against common cold viruses and traps indiscriminately and with broad action upper respiratory viruses respiratory, preventing their adhesion to the mucous membrane and therefore their multiplication and spread.

Also forms a moisturizing protective membrane. Due to the action of Carragelose®, this membrane remains longer on the nasal mucosa and serves as a natural barrier against external influences. This physiological moisture membrane simultaneously supports the body's natural defense mechanisms against common cold viruses.

USE

PROTECTION

iovir® creates a natural moisture protective film on the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity which acts against exogenous factors by preventing the attachment of viruses to cell membrane receptors and thus naturally supporting its defense organism

TREATMENT

iovir® has the property of trapping viruses by forming a cocoon around them. In this way, the interaction of viruses with cells is prevented, while the process of their multiplication and spread in the body is inhibited

RELIEF / MOISTURIZATION

The protective natural film of moisture that iovir® ensures, in combination with the limitation of the cause that triggers the inflammation of the mucous membrane, offers immediate and prolonged relief from symptoms, such as runny nose, sore throat, hoarseness and feeling dry.

DOSAGE

1 spray per nostril at least 3 times a day or according to individual needs

In large clinical studies in children and adults it has been shown that:

  • Significantly reduces the viral load (clinically cases where more than one different viral strains coexisted)
  • Reduces the total duration of the virus
  • Reduces the recurrence of the virus (relapse)

CHARACTERISTICS
