The cream Bepanthene Eczema intended to relieve itching and erythema caused by skin irritations in infants, children and adults. These irritations result from severe dry skin, in the acute phase of atopic dermatitis and eczema and in allergic reactions.

Bepanthene Eczema cream strengthens the skin barrier thanks to technology of horseshoe lipids and provitamin B5, thus enhancing natural protection against irritations.Bepanthene Eczema due to its special composition and action, restores the epidermal barrier that may be due to eczema, atopic dermatitis or severe dry skin, and clinically proven to relieve itching in 30 minutes. Offers permanent hydration and boosts skin regeneration. It is suitable for adults, children and infants.

MODE OF ACTION

Bepanthene Eczema provides the skin with lipids similar to those of the stratum corneum. In this way, it normalizes the structure of the horseshoe lipids of the epidermis, improves dryness, and subsequently itching, effectively contributing to the improvement of the epidermal barrier function during the treatment of atopic dermatitis. Provitamin B5, or dexpanthenol, after its absorption from the skin, is converted into pharmacologically active pantothenic acid which is necessary for the biosynthesis of skin lipids. In this way, the hydration of the stratum corneum is increased and transdermal water loss is reduced, resulting in the skin being retained hydrated. Finally, glycerin accumulates throughout the thickness of the stratum corneum, binding and retaining water in it, and in this way ensures long-lasting hydration.

Bepanthene Eczema interrupts the vicious itch-scratch cycle and repairs the disrupted epidermal barrier of the affected skin.

USE

Apply as needed to affected, uninjured skin.

Can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If used while breastfeeding: it is important to wipe off any cream residue from the nipple before breastfeeding.

Do not use if there is a known allergy to any of the product ingredients or on broken skin .
