Moller's Forte Cod Oil Blend Fish Oil & Cod Oil Rich in O3 Fatty Acids 150caps

There are two types of fish oils, those that come from the liver of fish, such as cod liver oil, and those that come from their flesh. All fish oils are rich in vitamin E and polyunsaturated fatty acids of the ω3 group.

Omega 3 fatty acids belong to the beneficial polyunsaturated fats and are divided into two categories, α-linolenic acid (ALA), which is naturally present in plant foods, such as flaxseed, and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), contained in fish. α-Linolenic acid (ALA) is converted into EPA and DHA in the body, while EPA and DHA are readily absorbed by the body from the foods that contain them. Omega 3 protects the heart, reducing blood pressure, diastolic and systolic, as well as lipid levels, specifically triglycerides. They also prevent arteriosclerosis and thrombosis, and improve blood circulation. In addition to their cardioprotective effect, omega 3 fats can improve brain functions, memory, and eye health as a basic structural component of nerve cells and additionally act beneficially against the symptoms of depression. They also reduce pain and inflammation in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease. Cod oils, in addition to polyunsaturated fats, also provide fat-soluble vitamins A, D, and E. Fat-soluble vitamins are important for the health of the brain, bones, eyes and skin, for the immune system and for the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Moller's Norwegian cod oils and fish oils are produced from wild fish and not from fish farms and is in the form of non-synthetic natural triglycerides for high absorption by the body (up to 98%). They are processed within 24 hours of being caught. They are food supplements of high quality and purity, free of heavy metals and toxic substances such as mercury, in accordance with European legislation. In addition, their production and packaging in a nitrogen atmosphere and the addition of vitamin A protect them from photochemical oxidation.

The food supplement Moller's Omega-3 Forte is a mixture of cod oil and high quality fish oil in a ratio of 1:3.
