Shipping Methods
We cooperate with the courier companies ELTA courier , (or ACS Courier upon request), through which your products are sent to the delivery location that you have indicated in your order. We also cooperate with the company BOX NOW through which we send your order to the automated BOX NOW box that you have indicated to us.
Alternatively, you can pick up your order at our physical store, at our Pharmacy at 185 Pelopida Street, Peristeri, Attica, P.C. 12137 , always after we notify you (via email or phone) that your order is ready for pickup from our Pharmacy.
Delivery Time
Delivery time depends on the availability of the products you have selected. Once you order, we process your order and inform you if there is any shortage of the product.
Products that are in stock will be delivered within 1-3 business days. For products that are not in stock at the time of order, we will inform you of the delivery time. All orders are processed within 3-5 days.
FOR ALL DELIVERIES, THE DELIVERY TIME DEPENDS ON THE AVAILABILITY OF THE PRODUCTS. The pharmacy makes every effort to keep product availability up to date, but is not responsible for any incorrect indication of product availability that may be due to invalid inventory updates due to a technical problem, etc.
Exceptions to the timely delivery of orders may be extraordinary events, e.g. general strikes or extreme weather events. Also, any product shortages due to suppliers.
Shipping Cost
Throughout Greece with Elta courier:
- For purchases over €89 and up to 2kg, shipping costs are free *.
For orders:
- Within Athens : up to 2kg, shipping costs are set at 3.5€, and for each additional kilo 1.80€/kg.
- Land Destinations : up to 2kg, shipping costs are set at 4.9€, and for each additional kilo 2€/kg.
- Island Destinations : up to 2kg, shipping costs are set at 4.9€, and for each additional kilo 2.30€/kg.
- Hard-to-reach Areas : up to 2kg, shipping costs are set at €8.00, and for each additional kilo €2.50/kg.
- Volumetric weight is calculated as HEIGHTxLENGTHxWIDTH DIVIDED BY 5000. (One unit of volumetric weight is equal to 1kg and is charged as additional kg are defined (see above).
Throughout Greece with BOX NOW :
The shipping cost is €2.70 for packages whose volume has maximum dimensions of H: 17 cm, W: 45 cm, L: 60 cm and weight up to 20kg. If your order has a volume greater than these dimensions, there is an additional charge of €5 and we will contact you in this case to inform you about it. The maximum allowed weight for shipments with BOX NOW is 20kg.
SHIPPING COSTS TO CYPRUS:
Shipping costs for parcels up to 2 kg to Cyprus are 10.20 euros.
-for items over 2 kg, a charge of 1.1 euros per additional kg applies.
-delivery time to Cyprus is 7-10 days.
Shipments to Cyprus are made via ACS Courier or via BOX NOW ( upon request in the comments at check out).
If you wish to ship with BOX NOW, write the desired Locker in the comments.

Shipping method and charges for international shipments (outside Greece-Cyprus)
All shipments sent to countries outside Greece have a delivery time from the date of shipment of 10 to 40 days depending on the destination. Our company is not responsible for charges that may arise at the customs of each country, nor for delays that may arise during customs clearance in the destination country. All shipments are sent as attachments and it is the buyer's responsibility to monitor the shipment number communicated to him when sending the order and to receive the package from the local cooperating post office. Certain products containing liquids, alcoholic lotions, sprays or pressurized containers, or flammable materials are excluded from international shipments for safety and regulatory compliance reasons. Shipping is charged on a kg basis Up to 2kg: 20 euros from 2kg and above 5 euros per kg
In cases where the buyer's local post office refuses to accept or does not pick up the package due to the buyer's fault, the customer is obliged to fully cover the shipping costs of the package (for shipping and return to us), until the package is returned to our company headquarters.

Pickup from our Pharmacy can also be done on the same day after your online order, provided that you have received a relevant notification for pickup.
Attention!
Each order will be canceled after 2 days from the order date, in the event that the payment method "Collection and Payment in Store" has been selected, and while you have been notified that your order is ready for pickup, you have not come to collect your order within 2 days.

BioGaia Protectis Ors for Gut Comfort & Rehydration Family Probiotic Hydration Solution with Zinc Orange Flavor 7 Sachets
The probiotic hydration solution BioGaia Protectis®ORS with zinc is a simple, natural, safe and easy way to prevent & treat dehydration e.g. from gastroenteritis as well as to restore and maintain the healthy microbial balance in the gastrointestinal tract to reduce the intensity and duration of symptoms associated with gastroenteritis.
BioGaia Protectis®ORS contains L.reuteri Protectis®, the proprietary probiotic bacterium of BioGaia Sweden. L.reuteri Protectis® was originally isolated from breast milk, it is the most studied probiotic worldwide in infants and children and one of the three most studied in adults. Its safety and effectiveness have been proven in 217 clinical studies and 180 publications in scientific journals.
L.reuteri Protectis® fully meets the requirements of the P.O.Y. for probiotics. In an in vitro study comparing the viability of 35 different probiotic strains in a simulated human gastrointestinal tract over five days, L. reuteri Protectis® was shown to be one of only three strains that survived. This fact was also confirmed in vivo, when its intake by healthy people led to significant colonization of the stomach, duodenum and ileum.
It is still the only probiotic that produces the antimicrobial substance reuterin against pathogenic microorganisms , such as rotaviruses. Its action has been proven in large published clinical studies to provide:
- 74% no episodes of watery diarrhea from day 2 in hospitalized children.
- 50% reduction in episodes of vomiting from the 2nd day in newborns and infants.
- 45% additional reduction in the duration of diarrhea with timely intake of the probiotic.

Use:
Prevention & treatment: Electrolyte disorders and dehydration from gastroenteritis, mild and moderate diarrhea and/or vomiting, sweating from fever or vigorous exercise, etc. Dosage:1-4 sachets daily depending on age & needs.
Contains electrolytes, probiotic L. reuteri ProTectis® and zinc. Available in a package of 7 sachets of 5.5 g. The content of each sachet is dissolved in 250 ml of cool water, kept for 3 hours outside the refrigerator or 6 hours in the refrigerator and provides:
- Electrolytes and glucose (composition based on the most recent recommendations (WHO, UNICEF, ESPGHAN , ESPID). *
- Probiotic strain L. reuteri Protectis® (based on the official guidelines of ESPGHAN (2014) for the treatment of acute gastroenteritis in children).

Electrolyte composition:
The electrolyte composition of BioGaia Protectis®ORS is harmonized with the latest recommendations of WHO, UNICEF, ESPGHAN, ESPID.
According to the most recent studies and observations, the new formulation offers superior clinical benefits, specifically:
- Reduces the number of bowel movements by 20%
- Reduces episodes of vomiting by 30%
- Reduces the need for emergency intravenous treatment by 33%
- Does not increase the likelihood of hyponatremia.
Zinc:
According to studies and observations of the P.O.Y. and UNICEF zinc:
- Can reduce the duration and intensity of diarrhea.
- Can reduce episodes of vomiting.
- Does not affect the action of electrolytes.
Ingredients:
Glucose, sodium citrate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, Lactobacillus reuteri Protectis (DSM 17938), at least 109CFU per sachet, zinc sulfate, orange flavor, aspartame.

Payment by cash on delivery has an extra fee (€2.50). The customer pays upon receipt of his products from the cooperating courier company.
