This biofilm:

Gastritis | Prevention & Treatment:< /p>

Helicobacter pylori eradication & gastrointestinal disturbances from the antibiotic (diarrhea, abdominal pain, flatulence) | Prevention & Treatment :

  • 1 tablet daily during eradication therapy
  • 1 tablet daily for 2-3 weeks after eradication therapy

Stomach disorders (dyspepsia, bloating, stomach pain, reductions, etc.) | Treatment:1 – 2 tablets daily or based on individual needs

BioGaia Gastrus® chewable tablets contain the clinically studied combination of two probiotic strains, L. reuteri Protectis® and L.reuteri  ATCC PTA 6475.L.reuteri Protectis® (L.reuteri< /em> DSM 17938) the proprietary probiotic bacterium of the Swedish company BioGaia, originally isolated in breast milk, is the most studied probiotic worldwide in infants and children and one of the three most studied in adults. Its safety and effectiveness have been proven in 217 clinical studies and 180 scientific journal publications (last updated: January 2020).

The L.reuteri Protectis ® and L.reuteri ATCC PTA 6475 fully meet the requirements of the P.O.Y. for probiotics. In an in vitro study comparing the viability of 35 different probiotic strains in a simulated human gastrointestinal tract over a period of five days, it was shown thatL. reuteri Protectis® was one of only three strains that survived. This fact was also confirmed in vivo, when its intake by healthy people led to significant colonization of the stomach, duodenum and ileum.

O L. reuteri Protectis® colonizes the entire gastrointestinal tract, prevents the growth of harmful microorganisms, activates the immune system and improves gastrointestinal function. It is also the only probiotic that produces the antimicrobial substance  reuterin against pathogenic microorganisms, so it has a unique anti-pathogenic effect which is ideally complemented by L.reuteri ATCC PTA 6475 which combines its outstanding ability to survive the hostile environment of the stomach for more than 3 hours and deliver its clinically proven anti-inflammatory effect.BioGaia AB
