Solgar ® Calcium Magnesium Citrate  contains the essential nutrients Calcium and Magnesium. Useful for building and maintaining bones, stimulating the nervous and muscular system and maintaining cardiovascular health.

The citrate form is thought to be more easily utilized by the body in case of poor digestion due to low stomach acids. .

Calcium is the most abundant mineral in our body and is mainly stored in the bones. It is essential for strong and healthy bones and teeth. Over time, calcium absorption decreases, so we need to make sure we get enough calcium from our diet by consuming dairy products such as milk, yogurt, cheese and butter. Getting adequate levels of calcium as part of a healthy diet, combined with physical activity, can reduce the risks to bones and joints later in life. When we cannot obtain adequate levels of calcium through our diet, supplementation is recommended.

Magnesium is considered by experts to be a vital mineral needed by every organ in the body and is found naturally in leafy green vegetables. .
