The Iofolen < b>Preconception® is a special nutritional supplement, designed to fully cover the nutritional needs of all women of reproductive age who desire pregnancy, ensuring their good reproductive health and the successful initiation and progression of pregnancy.Ingredients Iofolen < b>Preconception

The composition of Iofolen Preconception® is fully in line with recent international guidelines regarding the dietary supplementation of essential nutrients before conception.

  • Folic acid (Vitamin B9): It is recommended to take of folic acid before pregnancy, as ensuring its sufficiency favors the normal development of pregnancy and contributes to the development of maternal tissue throughout its duration. Folic acid deficiency during pregnancy can cause congenital abnormalities in the central nervous system of the fetus. Folic acid also contributes to normal psychological function and helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue.
  • Iodine: Contributes to normal cognitive function. It is recommended to be given to women from the moment they plan pregnancy as it helps in the normal development of the brain and central nervous system of the fetus, including the creation of nerve cells and the formation of synapses.
  • Vitamin D: Contributes to the normal absorption and deposition of calcium as well as to the process of cell division. Vitamin D deficiency before conception has been linked to preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, as well as low birth weight, poor bone development and an increased risk of asthma in newborns.
  • Vitamin B12:  Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy metabolism, the normal functioning of the nervous and immune systems, as well as the maintenance of normal mental function. It also actively participates in the process of cell division.
  • Zinc: A micronutrient with antioxidant properties that participates in many physiological functions. Among other things, it improves fertility and contributes to normal fertilization.

USE

  • 1 capsule a day together with the meal, preferably with some water. Package containing 30 capsules.
  • Sugar-free, gluten-free.

1 capsule yields:< br>

  • Folic acid 400μg
  • Vitamin B12 2.5μg
  • Vitamin D3 10μg
  • Iodine 150μg
  • Zinc 10mg

Sunflower oil, gelatin, hygroscopic agent (glycerin), emulsifier, zinc oxide, thickening agent (yellow wax), emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), vitamin B12 (cyanobalamin), pigment (titanium dioxide E-171), vitamin B9 (folic acid), vitamin D3, potassium iodide, pigment (carmine red E-120)
