Within seconds of the start of a stressful event, the body, trying to cope with it, releases substances from the brain, which stimulate the production of cortisol by the adrenal glands, thus completing the stress response. The main micronutrients that contribute to the reduction of stress and the maintenance of healthy neurological function are the B vitamins. According to analyses, the majority of these vitamins are either protective of the adrenal glands and reduce stress related to the cortisol response, either they are co-factors for the synthesis of GABA, serotonin and dopamine. More specifically, Folic acid regenerates substances necessary for the formation of neurotransmitters and works with Vitamin B12 to produce erythrocytes, which will transport iron to combat fatigue.

Di-Stress* by HealthAid is a balanced formulation of B vitamins, vitamin C, Choline, Inositol and Iron, in slow-release tablets, for continuous support. Instructions for use:
Adults and children over 12 years old, 1 tablet daily.
