The Athomer Nasal Wash System is a natural therapeutic method for cleaning the nasal cavity. It contains a device specially designed for washing the nasal mucosa and 10 sachets of Athomer salt. During its use, saline water is poured from one nostril and its outflow from the other. The entire nasal cavity is washed and the user has full control over the pressure-flow and thus can adjust it according to their needs. Nasal irrigation is a natural, mechanical practice that is widely used to clean the nasal passages. cavity from dust, accumulated mucus, crusts, allergens and any microbial agents. The Athomer Nasal Wash System can be used:

  • Post-operatively
  • During colds and flu, to facilitate breathing 
  • When there is a feeling of pressure in the paranasal sinuses or postnasal drip.
  • Preventatively to reduce symptoms of allergies from dust, animal hair, grass, pollen, smoke, etc.
  • By users of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) devices with sleep apnea snoring.
Instructions for Use

If you are using the device for the first time time, wash each part with soap and rinse thoroughly with water. Wash your hands thoroughly and then fill the bottle up to 250ml with distilled water or alternatively with tap water that has been boiled for 5 minutes to sterilize it.

Use 1 sachet ATHOMER to make Isotonic Solution 2 sachets of ATHOMER to Hypertonic solution and shake well with the stopper hole closed. Wait until the solution is lukewarm and then use it.

• Lean over the sink and tilt your head to one side.
• Place the bottle's tip in the nostril and slightly squeeze the bottle until it starts to flow out of the opposite nostril.
• As you squeeze the bottle, simultaneously keeping your mouth open and breathing (through the mouth) normally throughout the nasal wash.
• Continue gently pressing towards the bottle until 120ml for adults and 60ml for children have been used.
• Follow the same instructions for use and vice versa nostrils.
• Immediately after washing, alternately tilt your head to the right and left in order to drain the rest of the solution from the nasal cavities and then gently blow your nose.

    Precautions
    • Do not swallow the solution.
    • Discard any remaining solution and rinse the device with water after each use. It is recommended to replace the device after 3 months of use.
    • Do not use the product if you have a completely blocked nose or ears, as well as on people who are bedridden.
    • Do not use the device at the same time as other people unless you have previously sterilized it, to
      avoid the transmission of germs.
    • Always use the ATHOMER sachet immediately after opening. 
    • Do not use ATHOMER sachets after the expiry date or if its packaging is damaged.
    • Do not use the device with water only (without ATHOMER sachets). 
    • Keep out of reach of children
    • Discontinue use if you feel pressure in the ears or slight headache during or even after use.
