Instructions for use:

Apply to clean and dry skin. Face and body. Used from birth. It is combined with dermo-corticoids. Fragrance-free composition.

Composition:

Yeast Ferment Extract:

  • Restores skin barrier
  • Restores the balance of the microbiome (S. epidermidis / S. aureus ratio)
  • Strengthens the synthesis of skin ceramides
  • Activation of antimicrobial peptides Dectin- 1a & TLR2

Capryloyl Glycine:

  • Balances the microbiome and reduces skin disorders Protects the "good" bacteria of the skin
  • Has a soothing effect

Niacinamide:

  • Moisturization, strengthening the skin barrier and reducing inflammation

Shea Butter:

  • Protective, soothing action Replenishing skin lipids
  • Strengthening the skin barrier

Vitamin E Acetate:

  • Antioxidant activity

ω3 & ω6 Fatty Acids:

Evaluation:

Atopic dermatitis (eczema) is a chronic condition that leads the skin to appearance of intense dryness, redness and itching. It is common in children but can occur at any age and tends to occur periodically. Treating mild symptoms is very important and can relieve severe dryness, itching and prevent new flare-ups. Avoiding harsh soaps, regularly moisturizing the skin with appropriate products is essential.

Symptoms of atopic dermatitis vary from person to person some of which include:

  • Dry skin
  • Itching, which can be severe, especially at night
  • Red to brown-gray patches, especially on hands, feet, ankles , wrists, neck, upper chest, eyelids, inside the bend of the elbows and knees, and in infants, the face and scalp •Tender, swollen skin from itching

The microbiome is a network of microorganisms and bacteria that make up the skin's normal flora. Microorganisms live in harmony with each other and with skin cells. This ecosystem is a delicate balance and is a very important part of the skin defense as it protects against colonization by opportunistic pathogens. By secreting antimicrobial peptides (direct defense) and stimulating the natural defenses of skin cells (indirect defense), the microbiome forms a double line of defense against opportunistic pathogens.

It has been observed that in cases of atopic dermatitis the balance of the microbiome is disturbed. Dry skin has a low barrier function, often increased inflammation, scaling and itching. Impairment of skin barrier function disrupts the skin ecosystem and alters its natural microbial biodiversity. S. epidermidis which helps restore the skin barrier and fight inflammation is reduced while S. aureus colonizes the skin and increases barrier breakdown due to the release of infectious agents.
