Otrisalin Single Use Plastic Ampoules Saline Ampoules for Babies and Children 30x5ml

Saline solution (ampoules) for cleaning and moisturizing the nose.

With isotonic saline solution to prevent irritation of the nose but also to moisturize it.

  • Gently cleans the nasal cavities
  • Moisturizes the nasal mucosa
  • Helps to remove nasal secretions

Otrisalin ampoules are recommended for:

  • The gently cleaning of the nasal cavities when the nose is blocked, for example during a cold or in allergic conditions, washing out excess mucus or allergenic particles such as dust or pollen
  • Moisturizing the nasal mucosa when it is dry or irritated, in cases of minor nasal irritations or due to low humidity (for example in heated/air-conditioned rooms, high altitude, air travel)
  • The dilution and moistening of nasal secretions  to help their removal.
  • Otrisalin ampoules are particularly suitable for the daily cleaning of the nose of infants, who are not yet able to blow their nose them:
  • Daily cleaning thins the nasal mucus and helps to remove excess nasal secretions, which can change the quality of life of infants (poor sleep, difficulty feeding). It helps babies breathe and feel better again.
  • In the case of excess mucus, it is recommended to use an Otrisalin nasal plug immediately after instilling the solution. The simultaneous use of the Otrisalin nasal plug with the saline solution facilitates the removal of mucus from the nose and thus helps to reduce the risk of further complications,  such as otitis, sinusitis and/or cough. It also improves the sleep quality of infants during a cold episode.

Usage:

The usual frequency of use is  2 to 4 times a day per nostril.

Before opening the vial, wash your hands carefully.

  1. Blow the nose if necessary .
  2. Separate a vial and remove the cap.
  3. Tilt the head back and place the tip of the vial just inside the nostril.
  4. Gently squeeze the vial in order to create a few drops, and more strongly if more thorough cleaning is required. Repeat in the other nostril.
  5. Wait a few seconds and then blow the nose if necessary.
  6. If you want to use the remaining solution later, close the vial by pressing the cap onto the neck of the vial. However, the contents of the vial should be used within 12 hours after initial opening.

For reasons of hygiene and to avoid contamination, the vial should only be used by one person.

Ingredients:
Otrisalin ampoules are a sterile and preservative-free isotonic saline solution with 0.74% sodium chloride. The salt concentration has been optimized to avoid any nasal irritation. The solution contains castor oil, which is known to have moisturizing and emollient properties.

Warnings:

  • Suitable for infants, children and adults. Seek medical advice before using on an infant less than 2 weeks old. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
  • Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the package, and for opened vials no later than 12 hours after the initial opening of the vial .
  • Store at room temperature.
  • Protect from heat.
  • Store vials in original packaging.
  • Suitable for infants, children and adults. Seek medical advice before using on an infant less than 2 weeks old. Do not use the product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • Do not use a broken or damaged bottle.
  • No special precautions are required when using the product, according to the recommendations.< /li>
  • Due to its cleansing properties, Otrisalin ampoules should be used first when another topical nasal product is used (for example to treat a cold or allergic rhinitis).
  • Ampoules Otrisalin can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
  • This product is for external use only, not for injection.
