Shipping Methods
We cooperate with the courier companies ELTA courier , (or ACS Courier upon request), through which your products are sent to the delivery location that you have indicated in your order. We also cooperate with the company BOX NOW through which we send your order to the automated BOX NOW box that you have indicated to us.
Alternatively, you can pick up your order at our physical store, at our Pharmacy at 185 Pelopida Street, Peristeri, Attica, P.C. 12137 , always after we notify you (via email or phone) that your order is ready for pickup from our Pharmacy.
Delivery Time
Delivery time depends on the availability of the products you have selected. Once you order, we process your order and inform you if there is any shortage of the product.
Products that are in stock will be delivered within 1-3 business days. For products that are not in stock at the time of order, we will inform you of the delivery time. All orders are processed within 3-5 days.
FOR ALL DELIVERIES, THE DELIVERY TIME DEPENDS ON THE AVAILABILITY OF THE PRODUCTS. The pharmacy makes every effort to keep product availability up to date, but is not responsible for any incorrect indication of product availability that may be due to invalid inventory updates due to a technical problem, etc.
Exceptions to the timely delivery of orders may be extraordinary events, e.g. general strikes or extreme weather events. Also, any product shortages due to suppliers.
Shipping Cost
Throughout Greece with Elta courier:
- For purchases over €89 and up to 2kg, shipping costs are free *.
For orders:
- Within Athens : up to 2kg, shipping costs are set at 3.5€, and for each additional kilo 1.80€/kg.
- Land Destinations : up to 2kg, shipping costs are set at 4.9€, and for each additional kilo 2€/kg.
- Island Destinations : up to 2kg, shipping costs are set at 4.9€, and for each additional kilo 2.30€/kg.
- Hard-to-reach Areas : up to 2kg, shipping costs are set at €8.00, and for each additional kilo €2.50/kg.
- Volumetric weight is calculated as HEIGHTxLENGTHxWIDTH DIVIDED BY 5000. (One unit of volumetric weight is equal to 1kg and is charged as additional kg are defined (see above).
Throughout Greece with BOX NOW :
The shipping cost is €2.70 for packages whose volume has maximum dimensions of H: 17 cm, W: 45 cm, L: 60 cm and weight up to 20kg. If your order has a volume greater than these dimensions, there is an additional charge of €5 and we will contact you in this case to inform you about it. The maximum allowed weight for shipments with BOX NOW is 20kg.
SHIPPING COSTS TO CYPRUS:
Shipping costs for parcels up to 2 kg to Cyprus are 10.20 euros.
-for items over 2 kg, a charge of 1.1 euros per additional kg applies.
-delivery time to Cyprus is 7-10 days.
Shipments to Cyprus are made via ACS Courier or via BOX NOW ( upon request in the comments at check out).
If you wish to ship with BOX NOW, write the desired Locker in the comments.

Shipping method and charges for international shipments (outside Greece-Cyprus)
All shipments sent to countries outside Greece have a delivery time from the date of shipment of 10 to 40 days depending on the destination. Our company is not responsible for charges that may arise at the customs of each country, nor for delays that may arise during customs clearance in the destination country. All shipments are sent as attachments and it is the buyer's responsibility to monitor the shipment number communicated to him when sending the order and to receive the package from the local cooperating post office. Certain products containing liquids, alcoholic lotions, sprays or pressurized containers, or flammable materials are excluded from international shipments for safety and regulatory compliance reasons. Shipping is charged on a kg basis Up to 2kg: 20 euros from 2kg and above 5 euros per kg
In cases where the buyer's local post office refuses to accept or does not pick up the package due to the buyer's fault, the customer is obliged to fully cover the shipping costs of the package (for shipping and return to us), until the package is returned to our company headquarters.

It is known that the balance of friendly bacteria in the sensitive area is important for women's health, as it contributes to the prevention of conditions such as vaginal candidiasis, cystitis and bacterial vaginosis (BV). Taking high-quality probiotics, specific for the sensitive area of women can encourage a good balance of friendly bacteria, help achieve a healthy pH and prevent infections.
Specific probiotic strains have been shown to increase the effectiveness of standard treatments.
The product «Optibac - for women» contains 2.3 billion (2.3 X109) specialized probiotic strains, Lactobacillus reuteri RC-14® and Lactobacillus rhamnosus GR-1®, the most suitable for the health of the sensitive area of of women with more than 30 years of scientific research. Studies have proven their ability to help prevent and treat vaginal candidiasis, cystitis and bacterial vaginosis. After proven colonization in the sinus, specific probiotic strains help control pathogenic organisms (eg Candida and E. coli) from overgrowth.
Lactobacillus reuteri RC-14® and Lactobacillus rhamnosus GR-1® have been shown to improve the effectiveness of standard treatments as well as reduce recovery time. Specific probiotics prevent recurrence by treating the causes of vaginal candidiasis, cystitis and bacterial vaginosis, as opposed to simply treating the symptoms.

- Most women will suffer from vaginal candidiasis, cystitis, or bacterial vaginosis during their lifetime.
- Standard treatments for vaginal candidiasis, cystitis, and bacterial vaginosis do not replenish the natural microflora, and this can lead to relapse.

- Bacterial vaginitis affects 1 in 3 women but is usually misdiagnosed as vaginal candidiasis.
- Vaginal candidiasis is a common infection that most women experience during their lifetime. Symptoms include itching and irritation.
- Cystitis is inflammation of the bladder, usually as a result of an infection. Symptoms include urgency to urinate, burning during urination, and general bladder pain.
- Bacterial vaginitis is a common, but not entirely distinct, condition that is often confused with vaginal candidiasis. Symptoms include a "fishy" odor and white or gray discharge.
Dosage:
• For the treatment of vaginal candidiasis, cystitis or bacterial vaginosis = 2 capsules daily with food or as directed by your doctor.
• To prevent recurrence of vaginal candidiasis, cystitis or bacterial vaginosis = 1 capsule daily with food or as directed by your physician.
Storage
Due to unique production method, Optibac probiotics do not require refrigeration during storage. Store in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
Safety
Probiotics in general are not recommended (unless recommended by your doctor) for those with specific medical issues such as: those on immunosuppression, those with pancreatitis, those in intensive care, those with black stools, those with central venous catheter, infants with irritable bowel syndrome or patients with open wounds after surgery.

Payment is made through Piraeus Bank, where the customer transfers to a secure location of the bank and carries out his transaction with security and the correct observance of his personal data.
- Payment by Cash on Delivery
Payment by cash on delivery has an extra fee (€2.50). The customer pays upon receipt of his products from the cooperating courier company.
