Innovative system consisting of a soft mask and disposable heating units that provide topical therapeutic heat to the eyelids for relief of symptoms of dry eye and blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, from inflammatory non  conditions of the eyelids (hail, stye, etc.) and eye strain after long hours of computer use.

Dry eye, Blepharitis and hot compresses.

The tear film of the eyes has three parts water, lipids and mucus to function properly. The aqueous layer keeps the surface of the eye hydrated, the fatty layer covers the aqueous layer and prevents water from evaporating. The mucous layer acts as an additional lubricating element. The stinging and burning sensation in the eyes may be due to dysfunction or swelling of the meibomian glands that produce and secrete tear lipids. This lack or deficiency of lipids causes the water layer to evaporate and the eyes to dry out. Dry eye can be aggravated in bad weather or in air conditioning or working on a computer.

In blepharitis the irritation and inflammation of the eyelids is often due to the blockage of the meibomian glands which are located in the eyelids and secrete the fatty substances of tears. Both anterior and posterior blepharitis if not treated in time can lead to permanent dry eye.

Most eye doctors recommend warm compresses as a treatment for conditions such as dry eye but also for blepharitis, cataracts and stye.

Payment by cash on delivery has an extra fee (€2.50). The customer pays upon receipt of his products from the cooperating courier company.
