John Noa's Origin spray Vitamins D3 plus K2 is a liposomal technology supplement that provides 400iu vitamin D3 and 18μg vitamin K2 per spray. These two vitamins work synergistically and contribute to the maintenance of normal calcium levels in the blood and the normal condition of the bones. At the same time, the maintenance of healthy vessels is ensured. The original way of taking, through direct spraying in the oral cavity, offers immediate distribution of the nutrients into the bloodstream through the salivary glands. The liposomal technology offers maximum absorption compared to other forms of administration. 

Vitamin D3

The benefits of the "sunshine vitamin" are innumerable and documented. Most important of these, the absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, to maintain the health of bones and teeth. D3 is one of the forms of vitamin D that can be absorbed by our body. Its scientific name is cholecalciferol. 

Vitamin D can be produced in the skin from cholesterol, with its exposure to the sun, under the influence of UV radiation.  That's why they call it the vitamin of the sun. But we also find it in certain foods, such as dairy, fish and eggs. Vitamin D3 deficiency is associated with osteopenia, osteoporosis and rickets. 

Vitamin D has been associated with a wide range of beneficial effects on physical function:

  • Bone health: increases the absorption of calcium, the main component of bones. It is used to prevent osteoporosis and reduce bone loss.
  • In dealing with the negative effects of increased levels of parathyroid hormone (PTH) in the body
  • li>In the immune system: in recent years, its contribution to strengthening the immune system has been proven. High levels of vitamin D protect against infections and reduce the symptoms and severity of viruses and the common cold. In addition, it may be able to protect against autoimmune diseases, multiple sclerosis, diabetes and even some forms of cancer.
  • In the cardiovascular system: Studies have shown that vitamin deficiency D increases the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. Healthy levels of the vitamin in the blood can contribute to normal blood pressure and vascular health. They can also lead to a mild reduction of triglycerides.
  • In the respiratory system: prevents the development of respiratory infections and helps to improve asthma.
< h4>Vitamin K2

Vitamin K is also one of the fat-soluble vitamins like vitamin D. It is found in green leafy vegetables, yellow cheeses and egg yolks, but it can also be produced by intestinal microflora. Vitamin K includes two classes, phylloquinone (K1) and menaquinones (K2). Menaquinones exist in various forms, of which MK-7 is the most active. 

K1 plays an important role in the blood clotting mechanism. On the other hand, K2 has an effect on the health of bones and teeth, but it also prevents the precipitation of calcium in the vessels. Thus, it prevents the creation of calcifications in the vessels, keeping the cardiovascular system healthy. Its administration, mainly in women with reduced bone density, seems to significantly improve the situation and prevent the creation of fractures.

Co-administration of D3 with K2

Vitamins D3 and  K2 is critical for healthy calcium metabolism as they play an essential role in the deposition of calcium in skeletal tissue. The administration of vitamin D3 for long periods of time activates the production of some proteins that are activated in the presence of K2. Their activation helps to "guide" calcium to the bones, so that it is not deposited in the vessels. Therefore, the combination of these two vitamins offers the maximum absorption of calcium from the bones and effectively leads to the improvement of bone density, without burdening the health of the vessels.

Liposomal technology

Liposomes are made from structural materials like those of our cells (phospholipids). Because of this, they have advantages related to 'friendliness' to human tissues. They have the ability to transport lipophilic bioactive molecules, which do not dissolve easily in aqueous media and therefore have absorption and bioavailability problems, e.g. vitamins, curcumin, etc. As well as water-soluble or amphiphilic molecules, they are improved in terms of their dissolution rate and absorption through the gastrointestinal tract.

Liposomal technology can improve the therapeutic effectiveness of nutritional supplements. They are an innovation in this area, giving high added value to the final dosage form
