Kanavos Lavender Essential Oil Lavender Essential Oil, 20ml
100% lavender essential oil which is obtained by steam distillation from the flowers of the plant Lavandula angustifolia. It is a clear, colorless to pale yellow liquid, with a characteristic aroma of herbs and flowers. It may contain more than 100 different ingredients. It mainly consists of linalyl acetate, linalool, levandulol, 1,8 cineole, levandulyl acetate and camphor. The remaining components are terpenoids, such as monoterpenes, triterpenes and sesquiterpenes, as well as phenolic compounds.
Lavender essential oil is characterized by a variety of pharmacological activities ranging from anti-inflammatory to antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral, sedative and many other actions. There are many reports about the beneficial effects of lavender essential oil. In dermatology, essential oil formulations help relieve skin inflammation, psoriasis or eczema. In addition, the oil is an ingredient in ointments used to treat wounds and burns.
Due to its antimicrobial action, it causes purulent skin conditions to subside and improves wound healing. In aromatherapy, lavender acts as a potential sedative, hypnotic, anxiolytic and mood enhancer. In the cosmetics industry, it is used to produce bath salts, shampoos, skin tonics, cosmetic face masks, as well as to flavor naturally prepared creams. Also, lavender essential oil is often used as an ingredient in insect repellents.
Combined with bergamot, cedar, peppermint, spearmint, oregano, orange, tea tree, eucalyptus.
USE
- There is no recommended daily dose for lavender essential oil. According to the principles of aromatherapy, inhaling the aroma of lavender essential oil or applying lavender essential oil to the skin transmits messages to the nervous system and helps regulate emotions. To relieve stress, you can also spray a few drops of lavender essential oil on a cloth or tissue and inhale its aroma, or add a few drops of the oil to an aromatherapy device.
- For a relaxing massage a popular approach involves combining one or more drops of lavender oil with an oily carrier (such as jojoba or sweet almond). A common dilution is to incorporate about 30 drops of essential oil in 100 ml of carrier.
- Also for a relaxing bath add a few drops to your bathtub.
- Finally, to perfume and clean the space you can add 1-2 drops on a wet cleaning cloth or 10-20 drops on a liter of water for mopping.
To ensure the good quality of the product, keep in a well-closed container, protected from light, away from heat sources.

Shipping methods
We cooperate with the courier companies ELTA courier, ACS Courier, and *SVUUM courier (deliveries ONLY within Athens with SVUUM courier) through which your products are sent, to the place of delivery you indicated in your order. Alternatively, it is possible to pick up your order at our physical store, at 185 Pelopida St. Peristeri Attica, P.O. 12137, always after notifying us (via email or phone) that your order is ready for collection by our Pharmacy.
Delivery time
The delivery time depends on the availability of the products you have chosen. Once you order, we process your order and inform you if there is any shortage of the product. In-stock products take 1-3 business days to be delivered. For products that are not immediately available when ordering, we will inform you of the delivery time. All orders are processed within 3-5 days.
Deliveries within Athens the next day by SVUUM courier
Deliveries of orders placed with SVUUM courier ONLY concern shipments within Athens* and are delivered the next business day for orders placed online until 2:00 p.m. of the previous business day, as long as the products of the order are available. for example:
- for an order placed electronically on WEDNESDAY JUNE 1 at 1:58 p.m. will be delivered on THURSDAY JUNE 2 (i.e. THE NEXT DAY)
-for an order placed electronically on WEDNESDAY JUNE 1st at 2:30 p.m. will be delivered on FRIDAY JUNE 3 (i.e. APPOINTED DAY) the delivery time cannot be determined exactly or a specific desired delivery interval can be requested from the recipient, but a message is received with the estimated delivery time from SVUUM COURIER which delivers the next day 10:00-22:00.
FOR ALL DELIVERIES, THE DELIVERY TIME DEPENDS ON THE AVAILABILITY OF THE PRODUCTS AND THIS REGARDS NEXT DAY DELIVERIES. The pharmacy makes every effort to keep the products up to date, but is not responsible for any wrong product availability that may indicate due to invalid inventory update due to technical problem etc. An exception to the timely delivery of orders may be extraordinary events, e.g. general strikes or extreme weather.Also any product shortages due to suppliers.
Shipping cost In all of Greece:
For purchases over €89 and up to 2kg, shipping costs are free*.
For orders: Within Athens: and up to 2kg the transport costs are set at 3.5€, and for each additional kilo 1.80€/kg.
Land Destinations: and up to 2kg the transport costs are set at 4.9€, and for each additional kilo 2€/kg.
Island Destinations: and up to 2kg the transport costs are set at 4.9€, and for each additional kilo 2.30€/kg.
Hard-to-reach areas: up to 2kg, the transport costs are set at €8.00, and for each additional kg €2.50/kg. Volumetric weight is calculated as HEIGHTxLENGTHxWIDTH DIVIDED BY 5000. (one unit of volumetric weight is equal to 1kg and extra kg is charged as defined (see above).
SHIPPING COST FOR CYPRUS:
Shipping costs for packages in Cyprus up to 2 kg are 10.20 euros -for more than 2 kg, a charge of 1.1 euro per additional kg applies. - the delivery time for Cyprus is 7-10 days.
Shipping method and international shipping charges
All shipments sent to countries outside of Greece have a delivery time from the date of shipment of 10 to 40 days depending on the destination. Our company is not responsible for charges that may arise at the customs office of the respective country, nor for delays that may occur during customs clearance in the destination country. All shipments are shipped as attachments and it is the buyer's responsibility to track the tracking number provided to them when the order is shipped and to pick up the package from their local partner post office.
Shipping is charged per kg Up to 2kg: 20 euros from 2 kg and above 5 euros per kg In orders where the package is refused or not searched by the buyer's local post office due to the buyer's fault, the customer is obliged to bear the entire transport costs of the package (for shipping and return to us costs), until the package is returned at the headquarters of our company.

Pickup from the store
Upon your order, you can pick up your products from our Pharmacy, at 185 Pelopida Street, Peristeri Attica, P.O. 12137 as long as you have placed your online order at www.pharmacy4cure.gr, and always after we have notified you (via email or phone) that your order is ready for collection by our Pharmacy. Collection from our Pharmacy can also be done the same day after your online order, as long as you have received a relevant notification for collection.
Caution!
Each order will be canceled after 2 days from the date of the order, in the event that the payment method "Collection and Payment in Store" has been selected, and while you have been notified that your order is ready for collection, you have not come to collect the order you within 2 days.
We have all possible payment methods. You can pay by card (in cooperation with the Piraeus bank), by cash on delivery in cooperation with couriers, by bank deposit and by payment at our Pharmacy by card or cash.

Payment is made through Piraeus Bank, where the customer transfers to a secure location of the bank and carries out his transaction with security and the correct observance of his personal data.
- Payment by Cash on Delivery
Payment by cash on delivery has an extra fee (€2.50). The customer pays upon receipt of his products from the cooperating courier company.
